of Feed-in-Tarrifs

Personally power supply distributed to where i live and work has fallen.
It was better, much better from May to September. ...now its poor..
However the increase in the power tarrif is in order...to attract the private sector, prices have to be market based.
We are in a long journey, power distribution has to improve, new power assets have to be on stream, for now we are still at the beginning of the beginning.
However power pricing must be decentralized, if a region can distribute power cheaper than others then their prices should not rise in unison with other regions.
What we need to do is also copy Germany and make the consumers, you and I ...GENCOs. if we pass a real Feed-in-Tarrif law and subsidize solar panels and also allow ordinary citizens Generate and Sell power to their Disco then this will also be a positive move..
The states have to be proactive in this regard....states should subsidize solar panels for residents that pay those land use taxes and start building a solar grid especially in the rural areas.
There is no why the NE of Nigeria should be powered by gas and thermal power distributed over miles of territory...when they have sun in abundance.
We can so better
Its our problem. ....we can fix it
